Upgrade Your Home's Windows

If the windows in your house are more than 10 years old or include only single-pane glass, they could be costing you a significant amount of money every month. Studies by the U.S. Department of Energy have proven that 30% or more of a home’s energy can be lost through inefficient windows and doors.

When the cost of heating and cooling your home climbs higher every year, can you afford to let that money simply fly out the window?

Euclid Roofing & Siding can make your home more comfortable while reducing energy bills by installing energy-efficient replacement windows. Our replacement windows have been specially engineered for thermal efficiency and easy operation. Just as importantly, they come in a wide array of styles to add great beauty to your home.

Why Replacement Windows Make Sense?

Most homes are constructed with builder-grade windows that offer low cost but poor thermal performance. At Euclid Roofing & Siding, we install replacement windows that are specifically designed to provide maximum energy efficiency through a wide range of weather conditions and temperatures.

Consider these important features of quality replacement windows:
  • Efficiency - Engineered for superior energy performance, our windows combine advanced materials with modern manufacturing techniques to keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer
  • Low maintenance - These windows are made of long-lasting materials that retain their shape, color, and strength, and never need to be scraped or painted
  • Insulated frame - While some replacement windows feature energy-efficient glass, Euclid Roofing & Siding installs windows in which the entire frame and sash assembly are constructed of high-strength, low-conductivity materials that retain heat and keep your home weather-tight
  • Low-E glass - Panes of highly efficient Low-E glass filled with a specially formulated inert gas mixture virtually eliminate heat transfer through a window
  • Tilt-in sash - Our windows feature a tilting sash for convenient cleaning, both inside and out
  • Curb appeal - An expansive glass area and an attractively finished frame make our windows a beautiful new addition to your home

Energy Saving Windows

Installing energy-efficient windows can reduce energy use and cut your monthly heating and cooling bills. At Euclid Roofing & Siding, we install replacement windows that are among the most efficient in the market, with superior energy performance engineered into the frames and glass.

Determining Your Windows' Energy Efficiency

How can you tell if a window is energy-efficient? Standards have been established by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC), an independent, non-profit organization that administers the only nationally accepted rating system to measure the energy performance of windows, doors, and skylights.

The NFRC provides fair, accurate, and reliable energy performance ratings, allowing architects, builders, code officials, contractors, and homeowners to compare products and make informed choices.
  • U-Value - The most important measure of a window’s performance is its U-value, the rate of heat flow through a window. The lower the U-value, the more energy-efficient the window will be. U-value measures the entire window unit and is the only measurement accepted by the U.S. Department of Energy’s ENERGY STAR program
  • R-Value - R-value is the measure of the resistance of glass to the flow of heat. The higher the R-value, the better the glass will be at insulating your home. However, R-value is not an accepted form of measurement by the NFRC or ENERGY STAR, as it does not measure the overall window unit
  • Solar Heat Gain Coefficient - Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) measures how well a product blocks heat caused by sunlight. SHGC is expressed as a number between 0 and 1. The lower a window’s solar heat gain coefficient, the lesser solar heat it transmits

Reduces Your Monthly Utility Bill

The glass packages available in replacement windows we install include some of the most advanced features available today.

At the heart of our replacement windows is a technologically advanced glass called Low-E (low emissivity) glass. Low-E glass maximizes your home’s efficiency by reducing the amount of heat entering or escaping. Microscopically thin layers of oxidized metal are applied to the glass surface, allowing filtered light to pass through while reflecting most heat energy back to its source – an incredibly efficient way to reduce energy loss.

"We used Euclid about 13 years ago to replace our roof and siding and I wanted to get an inspection. I called the office and they sent someone right out. Both the office team and the guys who came out were helpful and professional. And the roof is still in good shape."
